Cameroonian gospel music minister, saxophonist, and songwriter, Minister Rita, has finally unveiled her highly anticipated single, “Abba Father,” produced by renowned worship leader Pastor Chris Mbotake. Born in the small town of Bamenda, Cameroon, Minister Rita nurtured a passion for singing and saxophone from a young age, despite facing initial discouragement from those around her.
Undeterred, she persevered, honing her skills in the choir by writing songs, singing, and playing instruments. In 2022, she met a pivotal figure in her journey – her “helper of destiny” – who guided her through saxophone classes and instilled in her the belief in her own abilities.
During a moment of personal struggle, while singing songs of worship to God, the melody for “Abba Father” spontaneously emerged. This divine encounter, coupled with a profound message of guidance and strength, marked a turning point in Minister Rita’s life, leading to numerous testimonies and inspiring the creation of many other songs.
