Greatman Takit Drops Cinematic ‘ADML’ Video Directed by TG Omori

Afrogospel singer and songwriter Greatman Takit has released the official music video for his fan-favourite track “ADML,” and the cinematic visual brings the song’s powerful message of faith, struggle and divine intervention to life.

Directed by acclaimed Nigerian filmmaker TG Omori, the “ADML” video tells the story of an artist navigating difficult circumstances while holding on to hope. Rather than simply presenting a performance visual, the video follows a compelling storyline that mirrors the testimony at the heart of the song.

In the visual, Greatman portrays a struggling artist who takes his artwork to the streets of Lagos, selling his pieces in traffic as he tries to make a living. His situation takes an unexpected turn after he encounters a destiny helper, leading him from the streets into an exclusive art auction surrounded by wealthy collectors.

The contrast between both worlds becomes one of the video’s strongest elements—the same artist who once struggled to sell his artwork in traffic eventually finds himself in a room where his work is being sought after.

The storyline reflects the meaning behind “ADML,” a song inspired by Greatman’s personal testimony and the help, mercy and faithfulness of God. The title draws from “Ademola,” part of the singer’s birth name, while the song’s message centres on looking back at where one started and recognising how far God has brought them.

Beyond the material transformation, the visual also explores the spiritual dimension of Greatman’s journey. Scenes of prayer, preaching and baptism reinforce the song’s message of dependence on God, while Pastor Emmanuel Iren makes a notable appearance, praying over Greatman in one of the video’s memorable moments.

The video also features a star-studded cast, including Nollywood actor Daniel Etim-Effiong, comedian Josh2Funny, Pastor Emmanuel Iren, Dr Foy and content creator Eric Gugua, among others.

TG Omori’s direction adds a distinctly cinematic touch to the story, while Yoruba cultural elements help ground the visual in a recognisably Nigerian setting. The result is a video that does more than accompany the song—it turns Greatman’s testimony into a visual narrative of its own.

“ADML” is the sixth track on Greatman Takit’s 23-track debut album, Flames Of A Wildfire, which was released on July 24, 2026. Since the album’s release, the song has connected strongly with listeners, with its message of looking back at one’s journey and acknowledging God’s help resonating particularly within the Christian community.

With the release of the official video, Greatman Takit has given fans another way to experience the testimony behind “ADML”—a reminder that seasons of struggle do not have to be the end of the story.
