THOUGHT FOR THE DAY: Uprightness positions a person for riches and wealth, but crookedness is a pathway to poverty and penury.

Seeds Of Destiny For Today 2025 MESSAGE:

Daniel was a renowned man in his day. And a significant secret to his greatness was that he lived a life of integrity and godliness. He was determined to remain unaffected by the corrupt systems that surrounded him.

Daniel 1:8 confirms his unshakeable commitment to righteousness and purity: But Daniel determined in his heart not to pollute himself with the king’s meat or the wine he drank, so he asked the prince of the eunuchs not to defile himself.

Daniel determined in his heart not to taste corruption. He made a determined commitment to shun all forms of contamination. He decided to avoid anything that could jeopardize his honesty or relationship with God.

We live in a world where corruption is widespread. Systems, enterprises, and institutions integrate corruption. However, as God’s children, we are called to be unique. We must be strongly determined not to engage in corruption, regardless of its prevalence. Corruption separates a person from heavenly sustenance and blessings. Crookedness, in any form, is a foe of the benefits from above.

Daniel, a public official, refused to pollute himself or participate in the corruption of his time. His decision propelled him to the status of one of history’s wealthiest and most powerful individuals.

Being upright can lead to riches and wealth, while being crooked can result in poverty and hardship. The upright cannot escape God’s benefits, while the crooked cannot avoid the curses of poverty and shortages. Everyone must bear the rewards and consequences of their activities.

Counsel:

1. Decide to rise in life through uprightness.
2. Avoid the lifestyle of crookedness, dishonesty, and iniquity.
