US-based gospel musician and minister, Sam The Psalmist, has released his new song, “I Will Wait,” a track born from a deeply personal and challenging period in his life.
He revealed that the song emerged from a season marked by silence, delays, and a feeling of unanswered prayers, during which he wrestled with divine timing versus his own expectations. Finding strength in Isaiah 40:29–31, which speaks of renewal for those who wait on the Lord, Sam realized that true strength comes from surrender, not striving.
He describes “I Will Wait” as his personal declaration of faith and perseverance, aimed at encouraging others who are in a season of waiting to fast, pray, and remain steadfast in their faith, trusting in God’s faithfulness despite unclear circumstances
