Key Verse
“The four and twenty elders fall down before him that sat on the throne, and worship him that liveth for ever and ever, and cast their crowns before the throne, saying, Thou art worthy, O Lord, to receive glory and honour and power…” (Revelation 4:10-11).

Text — Revelation 4:1-11
Message
A. W. Tozer has this to say about worship: “I can safely say, on the authority of all that is revealed in the Word of God, that any man or woman on this earth who is bored and turned off by worship is not ready for heaven.” The Christian breathes in God’s goodness and breathes out worship – love, adoration, admiration, and wonder at God’s presence. Unfortunately, many denominations equate worship to singing, drumming, and dancing, which are just other ways through which worship is expressed.

True worship declares trust in God – His holiness and infallibility, and our ability to present our bodies “as a living sacrifice, holy and acceptable to God …” (Romans 12:1). It is also the split-second prayer that gives thanks to the Lord for His incredible mercy. It spills out of a life that is filled and overflowing with the presence of God’s Spirit. Let your worship be present both outside and inside the church, starting in your heart and resonating through the lives of others to affirm the presence of God among you.
