SCRIPTURE: “There was a man in the land of Uz, whose name was Job; and that man was perfect and upright, and one that feared God, and eschewed evil.” Job 1:1

THOUGHT FOR THE DAY: Those who hate evil can’t lack good, and those who love evil can’t see good.

Seeds Of Destiny For Today 2025 MESSAGE:

It has been established that God’s blessing comes to people who live straight lifestyles. There are unique displays of righteousness that ensure the blessing. We will look at one of them today, which is called the Fear of God: walking in the fear of God brings God’s blessing. Anyone who seeks God’s blessing must live in fear of Him.

According to Genesis 42:18, Joseph told them on the third day, “Do this, and you will live; for I fear God.”

Job 1:1 also states that there was a man in the land of Uz named Job, who was perfect and upright, feared God, and avoided evil.

Job’s dread of God caused him to avoid wickedness, and as a result, his wealth was abundant in the nation. You can’t fear God while lacking substance. The fear of God brings abundance and makes people stand out in life.

What exactly is the fear of God about?

According to Proverbs 8:13, the fear of the LORD is to loathe evil: pride, arrogance, the evil way, and the froward mouth.

Those who despise evil cannot find good, and those who adore evil cannot see it. Even if they look to be having a wonderful time right now, it will only last a short time.

Remember that people who hate evil can find good, but those who love evil cannot see it.

ASSIGNMENT:

1. Maintain the fear of God in everything you do.
2. Maintain a lifestyle of integrity and godliness.

PRAYER: Father, I ask for the grace to walk in continuous reverence and fear of You. Help me to avoid anything that would cause me to sin against You, Lord, in Jesus’ Name.
