Miracle; Wildfire Burns Everything Except Catholic Church in Maui County

Despite wildfires raging all around it, the Maui Catholic Church miraculously managed to remain standing and unharmed.

Photos and videos shot recently showed the church, which was erected in 1846 and is still standing tall, was unharmed by the recent wildfire that tore through the Maui County village and burnt several trees nearby.

Rev. Terrence Watanabe gave thanks to God and said; “It’s like a miracle to us. It was a wonderful sight to see as we watched the news and the church steeple rose over the town.
