The Biblical Approach to Understanding Time and Season

The Bible has a unique perspective on time and season. It teaches us that God is the sovereign Lord of time, and that He has a plan for all things. He has ordained the times and seasons for everything under heaven (Ecclesiastes 3:1).

This means that everything that happens in our lives and in the world is ultimately under God’s control. He knows the beginning from the end, and He is working all things together for His good purpose (Romans 8:28).

The Bible also teaches us that there are different seasons in our lives. Some seasons are good, and some are bad. But all seasons are purposeful. God uses each season to teach us and grow us in Him.

One of the most important things we can do is to learn to discern the times and seasons. This means being sensitive to the Holy Spirit’s leading and understanding what God is doing in our lives and in the world around us.

When we discern the times and seasons, we can make better decisions about our lives. We can also be more effective in our ministry and in our service to God.
