The artist shared the significant decision in a heartfelt Instagram post, explaining it as a divine calling despite potential career implications.In her detailed post, Lessie Sings revealed that the choice was not an easy one, acknowledging the challenges it might bring, including a possible reduction in recognition, deals, and collaborations.
She candidly admitted that her follower count has “reduced like Cr8zy” and engagement has “dropped.”
However, the artist firmly stated that this is a “forever decision to bring people to God through my voice.” She emphasized her belief that her voice is a divine gift meant for God’s service, regardless of the cost. “I question my decision sometimes, but I never regret it! I’m not perfect, but it’s a gradual process. Thank you, Jesus. I hope I’m able to use my voice to win souls,” she wrote.
