Nigerian Christian Voice Over Artist Esther’s Voice (known as @esthersvoice_ on social media) has recounted a profound spiritual journey that led her to minister on a train, revealing the significant obstacles she overcame to fulfill what she described as a divine mandate. The extraordinary experience, which unfolded exactly a week before her birthday, came as a direct instruction from God.
Esther’s Voice candidly shared her initial apprehension and doubt upon receiving the directive to “get into the train and acknowledge His presence there,” admitting she had “never entered one before.” She detailed her intense preparation, which involved periods of both tears and laughter, coupled with fasting and fervent prayer for divine assistance. She also credited her spiritual friends for their invaluable encouragement and prayers during this challenging time.
The path to her unique train ministry was marked by numerous adversities. Before even reaching Ibadan for the journey, the singer faced several setbacks she attributed to spiritual opposition. These included a four-day power and water outage, almost abandoning her travel plans, and an incident where her luggage opened, spilling belongings into mud. She also recounted stumbling while crossing a road and a dispute with a vendor over money.
Despite these “different things” that happened, Esther’s Voice expressed deep gratitude, affirming her belief that “the devil fought me,” but ultimately, “The will of God was done!” She concluded her powerful testimony with a message on faith and obedience, stating, “Obeying might not come easy but He will help you carry it out easily.”
