The statement was shared on his official social media platform, accompanied by a video, emphasizing the urgency of global religious freedom issues.
“Existential Threat in Nigeria”
In his post, the former President asserted that Christianity is facing an “existential threat in Nigeria” and strongly criticized the atrocities occurring there and in “numerous other Countries.”
“Christianity is facing an existential threat in Nigeria. The United States cannot stand by while such atrocities are happening there, and in numerous other Countries. We stand ready, willing, and able to save our Great Christian Population around the World!”
