Gospel Singer Judikay Shares Emotional Pregnancy Testimony: “Doctors Said My Baby Had No Nose”

Popular Nigerian gospel minister Judith Kanayo-Opara, widely known as Judikay, has opened up about a harrowing medical scare she faced while 34 weeks pregnant with her second child, Shekinah.

Speaking during her daughter’s recent baby dedication service, the singer revealed that she traveled to Canada for childbirth, where an ultrasound scan left her devastated.

“At 34 weeks, I travelled to Canada to have my baby, and I went for a scan. They said she did not have a nose and that I would need to do a Down syndrome test, and also that she was not breathing,” Judikay recalled.

Faced with the alarming medical report and a history of previous pregnancy losses, Judikay immediately contacted her husband, Pastor Anselem Opara. His response was rooted entirely in faith: he instructed her to “tear up the report” and refuse any further tests.

Choosing faith over fear, the couple stood their ground, trusting in God for a miracle. Their prayers were answered on February 14, 2026, when Judikay safely delivered a perfectly healthy baby girl, shattering the negative medical diagnosis.

The powerful testimony has since gone viral, inspiring thousands of fans and believers across social media who are celebrating the miracle alongside the family.
