Governor Udom Emmanuel Rewards Singer Chris Vic with House, Land, and N1M Monthly Allowance

Governor Udom Emmanuel (pastorumoeno) of Akwa Ibom State has announced a major provision for the singer Chris Vic. The Governor stated he has directed the Commissioner for Lands to allocate a plot of land to the singer in Uyo, next to Chris Vic’s current residence, and will sign the Certificate of Occupancy next week.

The commitment includes building Chris Vic a four-bedroom flat and dedicating N100 million to set up his music studio. This provision is separate from the cost of the land and the house. Additionally, Chris Vic is set to receive a monthly allowance of N1 million for as long as Emmanuel remains Governor.

Governor Emmanuel noted the gesture was a reminder that “God is still good” even in difficult moments and that Chris Vic “shows us that praise is possible in every situation”. He added that he wants Chris Vic, and all persons with disabilities, to know that the government cares.
