When we say that as Christians, we are more than just humans, some people might think that we are being arrogant or that we believe we are gods. However, this is not the case. We are simply stating the truth of who we are in Christ.
Jesus did not come to earth to save us from sin only. That was a means to an end. His ultimate purpose was to give us life and to bring us into fellowship with God.
The Bible says that Jesus has the fullness of life. He is not drawing life from anyone else. He is the source of life. And He has given us that same life.
This means that we are life-givers. We are called to share the life of Jesus with others. When we do this, we are bringing healing, wholeness, and perfection to the world.
Jesus commanded us to heal the sick, cleanse the lepers, raise the dead, and cast out demons. When we do these things, we are releasing the life of Jesus into the world.
We are members of the body of Christ. This means that we are part of His very being. We are His hands, His feet, His mouth, and His eyes. We are the ones who carry His love and His power to the world.
We are the carriers of His divine essence. We are the ones who unveil eternal life to others.
Let us grasp the magnitude of this truth and walk in its reality. Let us be life-givers, bringing healing, wholeness, and perfection to the world.
Prayer:
Dear Father, thank You for making me a life-giver. I am Your outstretched arm to a hurting and dying world. I am full of Your power, and I release Your glory into my world today. In Jesus’ name, amen.
