John 6:35-40 NIV
Then Jesus declared, βI am the bread of life. Whoever comes to me will never go hungry, and whoever believes in me will never be thirsty. But as I told you, you have seen me and still you do not believe. All those the Father gives me will come to me, and whoever comes to me I will never drive away. For I have come down from heaven not to do my will but to do the will of him who sent me. And this is the will of him who sent me, that I shall lose none of all those he has given me, but raise them up at the last day. For my Fatherβs will is that everyone who looks to the Son and believes in him shall have eternal life, and I will raise them up at the last day.β

The Deep Hunger We All Share
Have we ever doubted Godβs care for us? Sometimes, our daily struggles can make it seem like He is distant. Yet, the Eucharist reveals a profound truth: God longs to satisfy our deepest needs.
This hunger isnβt just for food, but for something more β a connection with the divine, a life that only Christ can offer. The Bible tells us, βFor this is the will of my Father, that everyone who sees the Son and believes in him may have eternal lifeβ (John 6:39).
So, how do we receive this eternal life? Thankfully, Jesus assures us, βI will not reject anyone who comes to meβ (John 6:37). All we need to do is approach Him.
These words inspire us to visit Him daily in Mass. Itβs a simple act β attending Mass, praying, and receiving His body. By doing this, we not only embrace this new life but also share it with those around us. As Pope Francis once said, our lives can become βa prolonged Massβ where we carry the presence of the Lord into the world.
