Open Heaven 10 April 2025 MESSAGE

Yesterday, I explained that labouring means working so hard and having little or nothing to show for it. Work is easier when there are results. When I go for Mount Zion Hour at the RCCG Headquarters, where I have to lay hands on thousands of people, it is hard work, but I don’t mind because testimonies follow.

As a pastor, there’s no greater frustration than pouring your heart and soul into ministry work, only to see little growth or progress. I’ve been there too. Despite my best efforts, our congregation would fluctuate, and no matter how many seminars we held, the numbers wouldn’t stick. But God had promised me a mighty end-time army, and I couldn’t see it. One day, He asked me what I wanted for my birthday, and I replied that I wanted a miracle for every member of my congregation. He instructed me to host a special service, which we called the Holy Ghost Service, where He would personally distribute those miracles. And that’s exactly what happened – God turned things around, and our ministry was transformed.

I recall a time when we desperately needed N17,000 to roof our auditorium in Redemption City. With only N1,000 in hand, I was approached by a fellow pastor who needed the exact amount to complete a project for his congregation. Despite my initial reluctance, God instructed me to give him the money. As I did, He revealed that two problems would be solved: the pastor’s need would be met, and mine would be addressed. Miraculously, later that day, a stranger arrived from another state with the exact amount of N17,000, fulfilling God’s promise.

When you hear God’s voice, obey Him, and leave the rest to Him because your rest from labour and toil lies in your obedience.
