41 And Elijah said unto Ahab, Get thee up, eat and drink; for there is a sound of abundance of rain.

42 So Ahab went up to eat and to drink. And Elijah went up to the top of Carmel; and he cast himself down upon the earth, and put his face between his knees,

43 And said to his servant, Go up now, look toward the sea. And he went up, and looked, and said, There is nothing. And he said, Go again seven times.

44 And it came to pass at the seventh time, that he said, Behold, there ariseth a little cloud out of the sea, like a man’s hand. And he said, Go up, say unto Ahab, Prepare thy chariot, and get thee down that the rain stop thee not.

45 And it came to pass in the mean while, that the heaven was black with clouds and wind, and there was a great rain. And Ahab rode, and went to Jezreel.

46 And the hand of the Lord was on Elijah; and he girded up his loins, and ran before Ahab to the entrance of Jezreel.

Open Heaven 25 April 2025 MESSAGE

Humans are usually subject to the rules of nature. For example, the law of gravity makes it impossible for people to walk on water. However, natural rules can sometimes be disregarded so that they do not function as a barrier to God’s children.

In Matthew 14:22-32, we learn that Peter walked on water. When he started to sink, he screamed out, and Jesus took his hand. Following that, they strolled back to the boat on the water. The law of gravity was suspended for Peter.

When God becomes involved in a situation, the laws of nature can be suspended. When the angel arrived to liberate Peter from jail in Acts 12:5-11, the chains that bound him fell off by themselves, and the prison doors opened on their own. I hope that if there are any doors that have been locked against you, they will open on their own because of the Holy Spirit, and you will reach heights that your enemies do not want you to reach, in Jesus’ name.

If you continue reading that tale in Acts 12, you will notice that when Herod requested for Peter to be brought out for execution, the guards reported that they could not find him, so Herod ordered that they be executed instead. God is ready to surprise your enemies, in Jesus’ name.

“But they that wait upon the LORD shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint.” – Isaiah 40:31

When the Holy Spirit comes upon you, He will cause you to mount up with wings like an eagle and soar over any obstacles in your way. He will lift any embargo that the devil has set on you, as well as any restrictions he has imposed on your family and business. He will also make your feet like hinds’ feet and elevate you to your high positions (Psalm 18:33).

A hind is a female deer that can run safely in very tough terrain. Nothing limits or prevents her from running on extremely perilous terrain. Where other animals stumble and fall, a hind may run easily and without stress. I pray for you right now that the Holy Spirit will lift you above all limitations in your life, in Jesus’ Name.
