God will never show discrimination among humans. His Law stands forever! Those who exalt themselves will be humbled, and those who humble themselves will be exalted! God did not show any “specialness” even to His only begotten Son, Jesus. We read clearly in Philippians 2:8,9 that God exalted Jesus above all, only because He humbled himself. Not just because He is the Son of God… but because He humbled himself as a human being!!
Just as we, the human beings are subject to God’s natural laws, so also Jesus lived as a human being, subject to the same laws. He treated His own Son just as God treats any man.
He will do for us what God did for Jesus! If we humble ourselves as Jesus lived, we will surely be exalted just like Him!! No doubt in that.
If we do good, our face will be exalted and will shine brightly with joy! God declared to Cain, “If you do not do good, sin will be at your doorstep.” Like a lion waiting to plunder him, sin was very near to him. Cain did not know this. But God was faithful and warned him! Cain was then full of ‘jealousy’ and with ‘anger’. But even worse, the “spirit of murder” was waiting at the doorstep to catch Cain. However, God longed for Cain to overcome sin.
Even today, God’s eternal desire is, for man to overcome sin! But Cain failed to overcome the sin that was nearing close to him! Let us be careful to rule over sin by the grace of God!

Our heavenly Father! There is no prejudice in your oaths… Therefore, please grant us your grace to live upto your laws, with the fear of God; In the name of Lord Jesus Christ, Amen.
