What I told A Governorship aspirant to do Who He Gifted Me A Church Bus — Apostle Suleman

Apostle Johnson Suleman, a Nigerian clergyman from the Omega Fire Ministry, has disclosed what he told a governorship aspirant to do when he gifted his church a bus in order to win an election.

Suleman, while preaching to his church members in today’s Sunday service about seeking divine direction from God before embarking on journeys or starting businesses, related how a man running for governor bought a bus for his church and asked him (Suleman) to pray for him to win the election. However, the pastor advised him not to run since he would lose.

According to him, “Many of you are stranded not because of the absence of wealth but because of the absence of divine direction. Don’t start a business because you have the capital; start it because God has instructed you to do so. It takes divine direction to prosper because when God sends you to a location, there’s your bread in that location.

Some years ago, a man came and bought us a new church bus, but he said he wanted me to come down to pray for him and bless the bus. So I went down and asked him, What do you want the Lord to do for you? and he told me he’s running for the governorship of a state and he wants to win. I bowed my head and prayed, but the Lord said he should not run because he wouldn’t win. So, I told him he wouldn’t win, then he said some prophets had already assured him that he was going to win, and that is why he’s giving the church a bus. Then I told him to take the bus and, when you win, bring it back. He went ahead to run, but he lost woefully. I’m not happy about his loss, though, but he would have saved his money, energy, and time had he listened to divine direction.”
