A heartbreaking story is circulating about a Nigerian mother whose one-year-old son reportedly developed cerebral palsy following a supposed “deliverance session” conducted by the pastor at her husband’s church.

The mother has publicly shared the painful experience that she says changed her life forever, recounting the events in a video that is now making rounds online.

Pastor’s Actions Lead to Brain Injury

According to the mother, the incident began during a normal prayer session when the pastor suddenly claimed that the one-year-and-four-month-old boy had a “big star” and was “chained by the enemy,” insisting that an immediate deliverance must take place.

She recounted that during the process:

The pastor turned her little boy upside down.

This was the moment, she said, that everything changed.

Right after this act, her son reportedly began having seizures. The seizures became increasingly frequent and later led to a brain injury, which doctors subsequently diagnosed as cerebral palsy.

Abandonment and Financial Strain

The mother revealed that her life has never been the same since that day. Caring for her son has been extremely difficult, emotionally, physically, and financially.

Adding to the tragedy, she stated that her husband, who was a member of the same church, abandoned them when their child turned two years old. When asked about her husband, she said she heard he had already remarried and moved on with his life.
