In a significant show of solidarity and compassion, Apostle Joshua Selman, founder of Eternity Network International (Koinonia Global), visited his home state of Plateau on Wednesday to provide massive support to victims of recent attacks. The cleric donated cash and relief materials worth ₦200 million to the state government to help cushion the effect of the tragedy on grieving families.
During his visit to the Government House in Jos, Apostle Selman presented a truckload of essential items, including 3,000 bags of rice and vegetable oil valued at ₦100 million. In addition to the food supplies, he provided a ₦100 million cash donation to ensure that immediate financial needs within the affected communities are met.
Addressing Governor Caleb Mutfwang, Apostle Selman noted that his visit was not just as a minister of the gospel, but as a “son of the soil” who felt a deep responsibility to stand with his people. He emphasized that while these palliatives cannot bring back those who were lost, they serve as a message of hope and a demonstration of love during a difficult time.
Governor Mutfwang expressed profound gratitude for the gesture, describing the Apostle as a “prophet with honor in his hometown.” The Governor noted that such support from prominent indigenes strengthens the state’s resilience and serves as a powerful reminder that the people of Plateau are not alone in their struggle for peace and restoration.
