THOUGHT FOR THE DAY: Staying close to the Word doesn’t just mean holding the Bible in your hand.

Seeds Of Destiny For Today 2025 MESSAGE:

We live in a world overrun by corruption and wickedness, where sin relentlessly pursues us. To escape its grasp, we must maintain a consistent connection with God’s Word. As Psalm 119:11 says, “I have hidden Your Word in my heart, that I might not sin against You.” But how do we tap into this life-transforming Word? By staying intimately connected with it!

Staying close to the Word isn’t just about physically holding a Bible; it’s about reading, studying, and meditating on its truth, allowing it to penetrate deep into our spirits. Even with our busy schedules, we can still engage with the Word through audio Bibles, soaking in its wisdom during our daily commutes.

Revelation 1:3 promises, “Blessed is the one who reads, hears, and keeps the words of this prophecy.” This generation has been blessed with an abundance of Christian resources, making it imperative that we stay rooted in God’s Word. By doing so, we’ll maintain a righteous and upright life. Remember, staying close to the Word requires more than just possession – it demands a deep, spiritual connection with God’s truth.

ASSIGNMENT:

1. Make up your mind to stay close to the Word by reading and studying it regularly.
2. Practice the Word of God so you can live above sin and the corruption of the world.

PRAYER: Father, I receive the grace to stay close to Your Word. Help me to obey Your Word so I can live above sin, Lord in Jesus’ Name.
