Seek God for a special burden

In the Old Testament, we find that God gave each prophet a special burden. But they were concerned about the lack of holiness among God’s people.

The burden that God has placed in your heart is an indication of God’s service to you. So seek to receive the burden from Him. If you serve the Lord without burden, after a while you will get bored, and finally, you will desire money, honor of men or worldly pleasures. It is unfortunate that those who claim to serve the Lord today do not receive a burden from God regarding their ministry.

God will give a burden to one person to minister among the children and another to preach the gospel.To another will give a burden to teach God’s people. God gives many burdens to many in the body of Christ. We should not imitate someone else’s ministry or try to carry his burden.

Do not force others to bear your burden. And it would be best if you did not allow someone else’s burden to be given to you. Be burdened by God to do the ministry that God has planned for you.

Many are asking me to do the gospel ministry they do. But I always rejected them. I do not want to carry the burden that God has given to others. God has given me a special burden, and I have decided to do only that ministry. The prophets did not allow anyone to escape from the burden and ministry that God had bestowed upon them.

If you have no burden, you should go to God and pray for the burden to be filled. You have a special ministry in the body of Christ. You should know it. Many preachers move from one ministry to another because they join Christian organizations that pay them more.

For example, they start a radio ministry, but if an organization gives them a higher salary to evangelize among children, they soon become burdened with evangelizing children. Later, if the Christian book ministers were given a higher salary, they would immediately go into that ministry.

Such preachers do not serve the Lord, such people follow religion and do business related to Babylon. If God gives you a burden, you will not leave your ministry, even if other organizations give you more salary and provision.
