Canada-based Nigerian gospel artist Tina Njoku has unveiled her highly anticipated single, “Ekele.”
The song, titled in the Igbo language (meaning “Thanks”), blends Igbo and English verses to express deep gratitude for God’s transformative love, which breaks chains and brings true freedom.
“Ekele” is a vibrant Thanksgiving and praise anthem that celebrates God’s goodness, mercy, and transforming power. With energetic rhythms and trumpet-like calls, the chorus declares the celebratory message: “Jehovah don butter my bread, He changed my story from glory to glory… Ka anyị gaa nye ya Ekele (Let us give Him thanks).”
