In a video that surfaced online on Sunday, May 31, 2026, the cleric was seen addressing his congregation during a church service, sharing how deeply the news had affected him. He expressed profound concern over the immediate safety of the victims and the long-term emotional trauma the children might face following the ordeal.
Leading his congregation in prayers for divine intervention, Pastor Eze also called on the government and security agencies to urgently intensify efforts to secure the safe release of the students and teachers. His remarks have sparked a wave of reactions online, with thousands joining the call for a swift resolution and the safe return of the victims.
