Key Verse
“For the vision is yet for an appointed time, but at the end it shall speak, and not lie: though it tarry, wait for it; because it will surely come, it will not tarry.” Habakkuk 2:3

An engineer named John Roebling was inspired by an idea of building a magnificent suspension bridge connecting New York with the long island. He had put forward his vision of bridge building to experts who asked him to forget about it. He decided to share his vision with his son, Washington who believed in his father’s vision and decided to work with him. They hired the crew and began their dream bridge on January 3, 1870.
However, a tragic accident happened a year after and it claimed the life of John. The son Washington took over and continued with his father’s vision. Few months later, he suffered a paralyzing injury that made him unable to walk or talk. The work was suspended for a while, but the vision was still very much alive in him. Washington could only move one of his fingers. With the tap of the finger while lying on the bed, he was able to explain the vision to his wife, Emily. For thirteen years, Washington gave instructions with the tap of his finger and in May 1883, the bridge was finally completed and opened with lots of celebrations.
What is the good idea springing up in your heart? When you get an idea, the first thing is to write it down properly. Then take time to pray about the idea and relate the idea with the purpose of God for your life. Share the idea with people who can help you to bring it into reality. Don’t kill your God-given vision, don’t believe it is impossible, trust in the Lord and lean not on your own understanding and the Lord will make your vision come true.
