Comedian Woli Arole has publicly criticized university fellowship leaders, commonly addressed as “Papas” and “Mamas,” via his Instagram page. In a strongly worded post, Arole expressed his dissatisfaction with their practice of instructing student members to bring foodstuffs as “first fruits.”

He openly challenged the validity of this tradition, questioning, “What nonsense is this all about?”
