‘Don’t bring Religion into the affairs of Lagos State’ – Bode George warns Prof Akintola

A Former PDP National Chairman, Chief Bode George has cautioned MURIC Boss, Professor Ishaq Akintola not to bring religion into the affairs of the management of Lagos State. Chief George speaking in an interview with Arise TV news stated categorically that Lagos State is a state that is divided across different religious beliefs. He pointed out that religion should not be brought into the affairs of the state because religion is a personal issue.  

He said, ”I learned that a group went to protest led by one Professor Akintola. Please in the name of the alright God, don’t bring religion into the affairs of the management of Lagos state. It has never happened before. Because in Lagos State, there is hardly any family member you will not have Christians, Muslims, and Traditional members. So why on hell are you now bringing religion into the affairs of our management? Your religion is private to you.”
