Pastor E.A. Adeboye, the leader of The Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG), recently conveyed a message to the public through a YouTube post.
During the discussion on “FOR WHOM THE HEAVENS OPEN (Part 25)” || RCCG Online Sunday Service || 27th August 2023 || Part C, the religious leader emphasized that the power of the Ark of the Covenant of God is strong, but it can be dangerous if it falls into the wrong hands. He explained that anyone can become an Ark of God if they choose to live a holy life. However, he warned that it is risky to be an Ark of God and live recklessly. He encouraged the audience to start operating as an Ark of God from that day forward, performing acts such as casting out demons, healing the sick, and spreading joy and deliverance, as long as they are committed to living holy.
Explaining more, he said that it is better to have never been an ark of God than to become an ex-ark. He explained that this means it is preferable to have never been saved than to backslide. He congratulated the audience for understanding that they are the Ark of God, born of God, and filled with love for God, Jesus Christ, and the Holy Spirit. However, he warned against the temptation to backslide, as nature abhors a vacuum. If the Spirit of God departs, it will be replaced by a spirit of the devil, leading to a worse outcome than before. He concluded by praying that the Almighty God, who currently resides within them, will remain there permanently.
Speaking further, he said, “As for those of you who have not given your life to Jesus Christ, do you know what that means? It means there is something already dwelling in you. Remember what I said, There is no room for a vacuum in nature. If God is not in you then somebody else is. Each time you tell a lie, the Bible says, you’re speaking as a child of your father. He said the father of lies is Satan. So if you ever told a lie before, you know who is dwelling in you, but you can chase him out today by coming to the Lord Jesus Christ and surrendering your life to him.
