Adding to the online buzz, prominent Nollywood producer Stanley Ontop has publicly alleged the involvement of gospel singer Mercy Chinwo in VeryDarkMan’s arrest.This development comes amidst a well-known legal dispute between VeryDarkMan and Mercy Chinwo, which originated from his comments regarding her past issues with her former record label head, Eezee Tee.
According to Stanley Ontop, his attempt to contact Mercy Chinwo via Instagram regarding VeryDarkMan’s arrest resulted in him being blocked by the singer.In a subsequent statement, Stanley Ontop asserted his lack of fear towards law enforcement and voiced his support for VeryDarkMan’s release.
In his post, Stanley Ontop stated that Mercy Chinwo blocked him on Instagram after he urged her husband and her to facilitate VeryDarkMan’s release, expressing his surprise at what he perceived as a minister of God blocking him for speaking the truth. He further speculated about potential harassment from law enforcement and declared his intention to observe future events.
